More updates

We're just finalising a system that will allow you to translate ThatsMyMouse into any language. We'd like to have entries in the system ready for when we launch the translation options. If you would like to spend a few minutes to help us out, I'd love to hear from you even if you don't have time to do a full translation. Please email me at james@thatsmymouse.com.

The entire translation is only 100 lines, with many of those being one or two words. We're particularly looking for people who can translate the application into Japanese, German or Spanish (based on our current user base).

Application Updates

We've been rolling out a series of progressive interface updates to the application to improve compatibility with a whole range of sites over the past couple of days. If you're still noticing formatting errors with the ThatsMyMouse interface, please let us know in the comments of this blog post (please include the site url).

I think the z-index of the mouse bubble (the one next to my mouse cursor) is not set properly.

For eg, see http://reviewgist.com, and you will notice the mouse going
under the images.

Hi Parashuram,

That's actually deliberate. By default all link elements on a page are lifted above the mouse bubbles. This stops anyone's mouse bubble from blocking navigation on a page.

It can be turned off, either by changing the liftLinks setting to false, or by adding the class tmm_noLift to an individual link.

yo nothing to do wwith this entry, but how about a list of sites using tmm?

i'd like to see a more crowded site using it, since i have never encountered anyone, yet..

You can try one of my other sites; http://palgn.com.au/forums.php but you'll need to register an account and login in order to run ThatsMyMouse.

It would be a good idea though. For privacy reasons, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to list site's unless people specifically opt-in to be listed. We might take a look at that once the language packs have been implemented.
